Sapa - Bac Ha - Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van 2 Days Adventure
The Sunday market in Bac Ha is where you'll want to stock up on water buffalo, pigs and horses. Once you're all set, you can browse for bottles of local firewater (made from rice, cassava or corn) or handicrafts made by some of the 10 Montagnard groups living near here - Flower Hmong, Dzao, Giay (Nhang), Han (Hoa), Xa Fang, Lachi, Nung, Phula, Thai and Thulao. Bac Ha is a less crowded alternative to Sapa, and arriving midweek makes for a relaxing visit. Around 700m above sea level, the highlands around Bac Ma are somewhat warmer than Sapa
The Night Before
7h30pm, We will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train to Lao Cai Station. Sleep on the train (4 berth cabin, soft sleeper). Overnight on train.
Day 1: SAPA TOUR: Bac Ha market (on Sunday only) (B/L/D)
Located at 110km from Sapa, Bac Ha mountain town is well-known by travelers with the most colorful market of the hill tribes in the North of Vietnam. This every Sunday - Bac Ha market attended by at least 8 ethnic groups and last from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. It is also chance for tourists to discover the H’mong King’s palace (old building built by the French & Chinese).
In the afternoon, we go for a light trek to visit Ban Pho Village, the village is home to flower H’mong minority. We are invited to enter several local houses to have some green tea, corn wine, listen to the host talking about their family, talk to them… and then enjoy landscapes on a round about way to Bac Ha for get back to Lao Cai to catch the train or continue up to Sapa (two solutions for travelers). Check in hotel, have dinner, O/N at the hotel in Sapa
Day 2: SAPA TOUR: Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B/LD)
6km of walking down to the south east of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong. 2km-trekking down to Lao Chai village, through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people. Lunch at a local family, it gives you a worth chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the landscapes…on the way. Get back to Sapa by jeep or motorbike. Bus to Lao Cai Station to get night train back to Hanoi.
Day 3: SAPA TOUR: Arrive Hanoi
Tour end at Hanoi train station about 5h00 am. Please find your own way to your hotel, a taxi normally costs you a set of 50,000 VND (2-3 usd)

Seat-in-coach tours: To join with other people on available daily tours. These tours are fixed itinerary and departure time. It is possible to join in even your group of only 1 or 2 people. Customer do not to find other people to form the group. It is our company duty to gather the tourists for each tour. For these tours, you have to share the coach, boat and tour guide with other tourists who come from different nationalities. The number of people of this group is normally less than 20 persons.
